Welcome to our Blog!
This year P3 will be following a rainbow theme throughout the class. Their journey will mean they climb the class rainbow with attainment and achievement and fill the bucket at the end of the rainbow with gold coins. To date, we have 2 gold coins which have been class targets. Our target for last week was not achieved by all so we have made it our target for this week too….”Please have all homework completed and handed in by Thursday.” If we all manage this this week, we get our class gold coin to help us over the rainbow. With your help and encouragement, we can do this! Homework is handed out on a Monday and is to be back in class for a Thursday. Reading should be checked each night.
We have welcomed 2 new aquatic members to our class this year. They are our goldfish called Shiny and Nemo. They are swimming over their achievement rainbow too!
A huge thank you all for your support for our 1970’s topic! The toys display looks wonderful! The 1970’s topic we are looking at is a snapshot decade of the last 100 years at Dens Road Primary School. Each of the other classes are looking at other decades, resulting in historical investigation of the past 100 years throughout the school.
Please remember that gym is a Wednesday so bring gym kit (shorts and t.shirt) and leave it in class. Long hair should be tied up and no jewellery please!
Activity kit (joggers, sweatshirts etc) is to be provided for a Friday. The children go home in their activity kit and it is their responsibility to take their school clothes home with them on a Friday afternoon!
