This week we have been very busy practising for our Assembly. It is very exciting! We All have lines to learn and are working hard perfecting our acting skills! On Friday, we had a visitor from the Wallace Monument who told us all about William Wallace and the Battle of Stirling Bridge. Afterwards, we  worked as a team to built our own bridges. It was hard work!

William Wallace Talk!

Mr Smith from the museum came to the school yesterday to talk to the P3′ s all about William Wallace. He showed us a sword and  leg cuffs. These would have been put on prisoners. He told us about “Blind Harry” a man who travelled to the different villages telling stories about William Wallace.  Mr Smith told  us all about the battles and  how they were won ( and lost). In Art, we painted the Wallace Monument and a portrait of William.
