We had fun. We did tree rubbing. We are going to use the tree rubbings to make a big tree in our class.

We made flapjacks with golden syrup and they were delicious! We made it with oats too. We made it with sugar and it was brown sugar. That’s all.
We also found out about the Great Fire of London. I got a genius giraffe because I remembered it started in Pudding Lane and James S got one because he remembered the man who wrote about it was called Samuel Peyps.

We are lucky to have Sammy from Forth Valley College helping us in Primary 1. Today she read us 2 stories, one called Tooth Fairy and the other Mabel and Max. We all listened hard.
On Monday we took lots of physical equipment outside. We played jolly hockey sticks, skipping and some mini-tennis.
Today we went outside to look at the wind turbine and the solar panels. We are going to record how much energy they both produce for the school. We also learned about fractions. We used Oliver’s jammie dodgers. We cut them into two equal halves and enjoyed eating them. Tomorrow we are going to make our own sandwiches and cut them into quarters.
On Friday we did some science experiments to see what would happen when we dropped a bath bomb in hot water. Guess what? It started to fizz, changed colour, shrunk in size and almost disappeared. We had lots of fun!
