School Sport Committee

Meet our 2020-2021 School Sport Committee

Coalsnaughton’s School Sport Committee have a remit to help promote and develop all aspects of PE, Physical Activity & School Sport.  To be on the committee the pupils have to complete an application from and then go through an interview process led by the existing committee members.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Present certificates at assemblies
  • Deliver presentations at assemblies and in classes
  • Hand out sports event information to classes
  • Help plan the annual Health Week & Sports Days
  • Attend planning meetings
  • Lead the delivery of the School Sport Award Development Plan
  • Encourage peers to attend sports clubs and events/competitions
  • Be the Youth Voice for PE, PA & Sport at Coalsnaughton
