Competitions & Festivals

The pupils at Coalsnaughton Primary School have many opportunities to represent the school every year.  The school takes part in the annual Clackmannanshire Primary School Sports Association Calendar of Events which offers a wide range of festivals and competitions each year for pupils in P4 to P7.

During 2017-2018 our pupils have attend every single CPSSA festival and competition on the calendar:

  • Fun Fours Football – September 2017 (P4/5)
  • Cross Country Leagues – Sept/October 2017 (P5-7)
  • Girls Only Fun Fours Football – September 2017 (P4/5)
  • Basketball Competition – September 2017 (P6)
  • Touch / Tag Rugby Festivals – Sept/October 2017 (P5 & P7)
  • Badminton Leagues – Oct-Dec 2017 (P6/7)
  • Badminton Carnival – November 2017 (P4)
  • Cross Country Championships – November 2017 (P5-7)
  • Sportshall Athletics – January 2018 (P5)
  • Tri Golf Festival – March 2018 (P5)
  • Kwik Cricket Competition – May 2018 (P6)
  • Athletics Championships – May 2018 (P6/7)

By the end of June 2018 every P2-7 child has attended at least one events during the year – that’s 82% of our school roll!
