Grandparents are important because they’re family. They can help you with your problems. They love you. If it wasn’t for them you wouldn’t be here! Here’s what my grandparents are like: they are very good to me. My granddad died recently but I really liked him. He talked to me about his company- that’s why I like diving, boats and oilrigs. I did gardening with him and it was a lot of fun. He took me out shooting- he was very good. At the summer he died and he was only 66. I loved him a lot. That’s why grandparents are important.

Lewis’ 100 word challenge

On Friday went to my Granny’s for a sleepover. It was lashing rain. I stomped up the stairs, annoyed. I switched  the TV to BBC news. It said that there was going to be a flood in Turriff. I got my snooker stick to reach my notebook and it slipped from the shelf. I caught it, opened it and wrote a title: ‘Granny.’ I remembered my Granny and I feeding the ducks. I wrote down grandparents are important because they give you treats and take you to the park and let you go on the Wii and most of all they spend time with you.
