Markethill’s got Talent was a huge success, thanks to the efforts of Miss Heron, the Pupil Council and our very talented pupils. Here are the P5 competitors, entertaining us with dancing, magic tricks, singing and some very funny jokes.

This week in Maths we are looking at money.Here we are making posters using adverts from magazines and newspapers.

Congratulations to Primary 5/19 pupils who took part in the games this year. Certificates will be awarded on Monday….. 4 pupils received a Distinction award…..I wonder who it could be? Well done everyone!

I’ve been so impressed with the effort that many pupils have put into the practise sessions. In particular, I think that Lee and Aaron deserve a special mention, having answered over 2500 and 1500 questions correctly. Well done, boys!! Tomorrow is the big day! We will spend our ICT session playing online and will have the class computer logged in for the whole school day, with children taking part on a rota basis. Click here to play at home. 🙂

Lots of book-related activities this week.
