T he alec caravan is here in Markethill just now. Some classes have been in the alec caravan, they have really enjoyed it!

At class we drawed some of  Miss Bremner’s  flowers and then after that we painted them. It was very hard to do even for me because i was struggling at the in side.

p6/7.5 have made a servae of the school playground to show the number of birds,insects and fury animals.The class have seen the loch of  lowes osprey nest click go to wedcam

Each house has to make a shield in there own house. The clocroom is drie and dull, who ever wins in there house they will get to paint the clokroom with the house captin’s.

All the children in Markethill have been practicing for the 2013 sports day!

The children will be doing the sprint races, the sack race,the three legged race,the relay race and the track race! They will also be doing the Javlin throw and the Standing Long Jump and the P6 and P7 High Jump! Parents are allowed to come and watch their children have fun and try to help their house win!

Every Thursday a man called Mr Watt goes to the both p5 classes and takes ipads to teach them about creating and composing music. They have been enjoying it and are learning every week.

Turrif has decided to put on a market. It will be every third Satuarday a month. The quire are going to be singing on the opening of the Turra Market. They are singing a new version of Barn Yards of Delgaty. It will be the 18th of May. Hope you can come along.

The P5,P6 and P7 are learning about first aid as Nikki is teaching the classes all about things to do with first aid. The P5s are learning about what do when someones chocking and about different allergies. The P6s classes are learning about burns, cuts and how to put on a sling. The P7s are learning about heart attacks, fainting, sprains and SPA.
