On Monday P1-4 visited Braemar Castle as part of their IDL work on ‘olden days Braemar’. They thoroughly enjoyed visiting the many rooms in the castle guided by castle manager Isla (and dog Morris!). They particularly enjoyed seeing the old servant’s kitchen, the spooky dungeon pit, and seeing some armour and weapons dating back to the Jacobite rebellions. We finished the trip by ringing the very old, and very loud bell outside the castle door!
