Skiing people missed a day of skiing so we got an extra day on Monday the 5th of March. It was not very nice weather, it was a bit misty and windy. Luckily we could see quite well. It was a bit cold. the snow was nice and powdery and we did a nice jump. We also did much more runs than we did last time. We did Home Run which is quite a nice steady run. Home Run was icy on one side and nice on the other. One side of the road was powder and the other was icy. I think it was a good extra day of skiing.

Ballater School went to Aberdeen to watch the pantomime. It was Aladdin. We left at 1150 and came back at 6. The place we went to was called His Majesty’s Theatre. My favourite bit was when they played music with pots and pans.

On Sunday I did a race at Knockburn. It was part of the winter X-country series. It was the first one of the four. I came first and their was a lot of people doing it and I was about 100m a head of everybody else. My brother also did it and he did well. Click here to search the results.

On the 29th of September we a harvest lunch. P6/7 made the apple and bramble crumble and P1/2/3 made three soups, the soups were lentil, vegetable and chicken broth. On the Friday p6/7 served up all the tables and lots of people turned up. All together we raised £200. All the money went to the food bank.
