P6/7 Assembly

In p6/7  we have been doing an assembly. We have only been able to rehearse and prepare  for only one school week. Our assembly is about the UN rights of the child article 31,”Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities” and one of our school values resilience. We were all told to write something  that we did in our spare time and bring in an example. We are also doing a play about a Bramble a  bat and a seagull that was originally a poem but we changed in into a play, that was about resilience. We also made power points about foodbanks  and we voted for the best two, the two that got the most votes were Kirsty’s and Thomas and Findlay’s and Leonna’s.                                                                                                         By Ryszard.

My Lamborghini Information Piece

Lamborghinis

The Lamborghini founder was named  Ferrucio and he sadly died on the 20th February  1993, many of the Lamborghini cars were named after Spanish legends.

How It Started

When Lamborghini first started it made tractors. The most expensive Lamborghini ever sold was the Lamborghini Reventon which was sold for £1,600,000. The Super Trofeo series by Lamborghini (Drag racing) has been designed for people willing to cough up £30,000 to allow them to drive a Lamborghini.

Other Lamborghini Facts

When the 350GTV was launched it wasn’t finished. During the unveiling it didn’t have the engine fitted so the Lamborghini team put bricks where the engine should be and didn’t open the hood of the car the whole time.

Interesting Info

A man collected old tractor pieces from World War 2 and started putting bits of them together and made the tractor/ Lamborghini.  It became so famous the Lamborghini business suddenly grew rapidly. The tractors are still being sold from a range of £30,000 to around £3oo,ooo.

Facts

The fastest car in the world is the (Murcielao RGT) and has a top speed of 370 km/h or 229.907341 mph. In 2007 Lamborghini sold over 2580 cars which is the highest amount ever. Most Lamborghini cars have the V12 engine but the Lamborghini Gallardo which is actually pronounced ( guy are dough) has a v10 engine.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Conclusion

Lamborghini has not yet stopped making designs and won’t be stopping anytime in the near future.

Aboyne Harvest Choir and Gathering

On Wednesday the fourth of October there was an event in Aboyne Academy which included the ten primary schools of Aboyne Academy and the Duchess of Cornwall. The ten primary schools of Aboyne Academy chose five people from each school to take part in a choir. The choir was for the event. The gathering showed the things that the ten Aboyne schools did for harvest. The choir sang for the Duchess of Cornwall and the choir sang a song called ‘Harvest Time is Here Again’. The Duchess walked around the hall and looked at the things that the ten primary schools did for the harvest. I was in the choir and went on T.V. I thought the choir was a fun experience and I am glad I got to be part of it.
