There are also lots of apps that can help make Numeracy fun for your child. Here are a few Angus school favourites. Your child’s teacher will be able to advise you about the numbers and shapes to use.  

Number Line Math £0.49 Helps develop children’s ability to use a number line to solve addition and subtraction problems.  The Options menu allows you to choose the type of problem and the range of numbers to be used.
Fact Triangles £0.49 Helps cement knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts.  The Options menu allows you to choose the kind of sum and the range of numbers to be used.
Deep Sea Duel Free Children are challenged to collect cards with a specified sum.  The level of difficulty can be changed and sums can include whole numbers or decimals.
Protractor Tool £0.99 Allows the children to measure and understand the relationship between different objects and varying angles.  It is recommended for ages 8 and over.
CCSS Math 3-5 Free Offers games to help develop children’s understanding of different maths topics fun and engaging ways. The first 5 games are free. Recommended age range 8-10.
