S3 Fashion and Textiles

Recommended Entry Requirements:

  • Pupils will be expected to have shown a keen interest in Fashion and Textiles in S1 and S2, where they will have developed some basic skills in hand and machine stitching.

  • Course Content:

  • Pupils will develop a range of fashion/textile items and explore a selection of fashion trends. They will consider their personal preferences and develop an understanding of the factors that influence the fashion and textile choice of others. 

Assessment:

  • National 3 units – Partly written assignments and partly practical activities.
