Fashion and Textile: Higher

Recommended Entry Requirements:

• This course is aimed at learners who have a keen interest in fashion, textiles and design and ideally have completed National 5 Fashion and Textile Technology

Course Content:

• Pupils will develop detailed knowledge, understanding and skills related to textile technologies.  They will explore fashion trends and investigate a range of factors affecting the choices of consumers. They will present and justify a detailed fashion/ textile item and make this to an appropriate standard.  

Assessment:

• Question Paper (35 marks)
• Assignment (35 marks)
• Practical Activity (30 marks)

• Further Education in Fashion and Textile Technology for example HNC in Fashion Business at Dundee and Angus College
