Course Content:

The aims of the Course are to enable learners to:

• Perform music on two instruments or one instrument and voice. This will be done in solo and group settings.
• Develop confidence in performing music.
• Compose music in different styles.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of the social and cultural factors influencing music.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of musical concepts and musical literacy.
• Reflect on own work and that of others.
