Interestingly, Paul’s comment, “Swing Heil!” is a reference to a phrase coined by rebellious teenagers in Nazi Germany – ‘Swing Kids’ – who listened to banned jazz and swing music. These cool cats and coo-coo chicks shouted, “Swing Heil!” instead of, “Seig Heil!” – a pro-Nazi slogan.
