T’is the season to be merry, t’is also the season for sharing and so, for this term we wish to share with you an absolute classic: Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

A Christmas Carol is one of Dickens’ most cherished books and there have been many film and stage versions of this classic, my favourite is The Muppets’ version.

The story, if you didn’t already know, is about an old miser called Scrooge who during the night has a dream and is visited by three ghosts, these three ghosts help him change his attitude and become a nice, friendly and generous individual.

This book has humour, drama and overall an important message about sharing and helping the needy.
