Our Week in P2!

This week in primary 2 we have been learning about the magic ‘e’ sound and how it makes vowels strong enough to say their names! We’ve enjoyed making Magic ‘e’ wands and watching some great videos!

We also worked together to learn about things that make us similar and things that make us different. We worked with a partner to colour pictures showing likes and dislikes. We then stuck them down on a Venn digaram!

As it is coming up to Spring, we created a beautiful Spring Wreath with a little bird! We were so proud of how they turned out!

Our week!

This week has been super busy again!

We have had another digital lesson with Miss Jackson and have learned more about the rainforest and the animals that live there. We also learned about why the rainforest is disappearing and some things we can do to help stop that!

We also did some digital learning this week and worked on Zip and Sumdog! We loved using the laptops!

We’re beginning to set our sights on Spring so we created some Spring Chicks (this also linked to our new sound this week, ‘ck’!)

Well done for all of primary 2 for such a lovely week!

Happy Birthday Keiran!

It’s Keiran’s Birthday! We hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy birthday to you,
On this your special day.
We’re so glad to share it with you,
To bring gifts, eat cake and play.

We hope you have a great time,
And that all your wishes come true.
Because we don’t know anyone who deserves
A happier birthday than you!
