Hello and welcome to Primary 5’s class blog.
I hope you all had a lovely summer and are ready for a busy year ahead. I can already tell that it’s going to be a brilliant year and I’m very excited 🙂
The aim of this blog is for the children to share information and photos so you can keep up to date with their learning. Yes that’s right, the children will be in charge!
Please find below an overview of our timetable which will inform you of the days the children have an activity out with the classroom
Monday – singing with Miss Hamilton, homework due in
Tuesday – P.E with Miss Macrae, library
Wednesday – Health with Mrs Cox, homework given out
Thursday – P.E with Miss Scott
Friday – Assembly with Mrs Dalziel, French with Mrs Shepherd
As it is the start of term can you please ensure your child has the following in school:
- A named gym kit
- A named apron or smock for art
- A named ‘rainy day’ job for indoor break and lunches. E.g. Cards, a colouring book or something similar. All of the above can be left in school.
As the children are writing the blog, please feel free to comment at any time. I’m sure they would love to read what you think each week.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – pop a note in your child’s folder or you can make an appointment with me via the school office. I’m really looking forward to working with you all this year.
Miss Scott
