We will be using the Blog to share the homework this term. A new post will be uploaded every Wednesday with the homework tasks. At times additional written tasks may be sent home to be used in conjunction with the tasks online.

Blending bingo instructions
Click here to access the website that you will need for this game. First you will need to download and print the bingo cards using the option on the website. Game 5 – sh. Game 24 – i_e. (If you are unable to print you could copy the bingo cards that you need onto paper). Cut the bingo cards up and give each player 1 card. (There are 4 cards per sheet). Once you have done this you are ready to play the game. Click on the link above again and this time select the ‘Let’s go’ option. You can now select the game number that you are playing. The children should be able to tell you how to play the game – we often play it in class.

Maths
We have been learning about solving problems. We have been trying hard to not give up and to try different ways of working. We have also been trying to choose a level of challenge that suits our brains. We are being encouraged to not try anything that is too easy and to try and push ourselves to try something tricky.
This week we have been focusing on solving Sudoku in school. Many of us have been learning to write small number possibilities in the corner of the boxes when there is more than one possibility. Please use the link below to try printing a sudoku. Bring the completed one that you have chosen into school on Monday.
You can choose which level you would like to work on. There are different levels within the ‘easy’ and ‘medium’ links below. Think about how confident you feel when doing sudoku in class to help you make your decision. Have fun! 🙂

Talking homework
We are going to be learning about our senses this term. Please try talking to your family about the different senses that you are using when engaged in different activities. You may wish to think about:
Which senses do you use when eating your tea? Does it taste different when you close your eyes/gently pinch your nose?
Which senses do you use when getting dressed?
Which senses do you use when playing a sport/playing?
Which senses do you use when watching tv?
