The Wizard of Oz

On Wednesday afternoon all of the P7s took a trip to Cults Academy to see The Wizard of Oz performance organised by the Drama students and teachers. It was amazing. Everyone had really astounding voices, and were really confident on stage. They had great expression, and have inspired some of us to join the Academy drama club, and do some of our own productions! We can’t wait for the Academy!

IDL

In IDL we have been learning about polar animals, and how they adapted to their harsh environment. In our table groups we created a poster about our given animal: Polar bears, Seals, Emperor penguins, Arctic hares, Antarctic krill, Arctic fox and Adelie penguins. We presented our posters to the class, and had fun working together to research and make our posters.

Christmas Song Practise

Please remember to carry on practising your songs, and if you have any sturdy shopping bags, please remind yourself or your child to bring them in.

P.E

In P.E this week we were doing the bleep test, and most of us beat our scores from the last time we did it, last week we ran for 10 minutes and sprinted up and down the gym hall because we were working on our speed and stamina.

Coding

In I.C.T we are doing coding on code.org and we have our own account, to do it on, we all enjoy it, some of the levels can be difficult, but there is help and hints on every level to guide through the level. We are learning new knowledge and information on how to code!
