A huge thank you to all the children who took part in our Superhero Day to help raise money for Cash for Kids. 

You are all our Superheroes!

Today we had our Crazy Hair Day that the children requested during our hairdresser role play. Thank you to all the families for their support and time to make this happen. There were lots of fun hairstyles on show.

The children looked spectacular dressed-up in their costumes. It was really difficult to choose who had the best costume.

After much deliberation the ‘best costume’ winners were:

Morning  Nursery:  A caterpillar from ‘Ten Wriggly, Wiggly Caterpillars’ by Debbie Tarbett

and

Afternoon Nursery:  The prize cow from  ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ by Julia Donaldson

The children made pancakes for snack today. They were enjoyed by all.

This week at nursery we had our very own Burns supper and Scottish dancing in the gym.

The children have been learning about Scotland. They decided they wanted to make a castle they could fit into.

Some of the other children, built their castles using the wooden blocks

Today we participated in outdoor learning with Mr Millar!

Afterwards the children said,

“We were dancing!”

”Mr Millar was playing his violin!”

”We were playing games about the monkeys climbing on the tree and then they fall down on the bananas and then the crocodile snapped.”

“I felt happy.”

”I feel tired now!”
