Congratulations to our pupil of the week:
Lyla has earned her pupil of the week award for making a HUGE effort in every class.
Each week, we have an extra special reading time with our buddies in Primary 2.
They get a chance to practice their excellent reading skills by reading out loud to us. We get a chance to practice our questioning and reading with expression back to them.
Smiles and fun all round!
Today we got to go on our first field trip! We had so much fun, that we felt we had to share it with you!
You can find the dolphins over there, between the little lighthouse and the orange board.
But to see them, you need binoculars! Make sure they are in focus!!!
To pick up litter safely, you need listen to the instructions, put on warm safety gloves and practice with the litter picker.
We organized common rubbish into a timeline of the length of time it takes for item to decompose. The glass bottle and the chewing gum took forever!
Then we got to do our part and help clean up the beach. Adam was very good at finding very tiny, but dangerous to animals litter.
And then it was all over and time to go home. What a great day we had! Thank you so much to Sadie and Adam from the RSPB, and to our wonderful parent helpers!!!
