Star of the Week

Congratulations to Ruby for being chosen as our Star this week! As part of our topic work on Inventions, we have been looking at electricity and electrical inventions. Ruby has shown a really keen interest in electric circuits and has demonstrated a great understanding of universal symbols. Ruby has also done well with designing and building circuits and she knows how to connect components. Well done, Ruby!

Pupil of the Week

This week our congratulations go to Andrew for being chosen as Pupil of the Week! Andrew demonstrated a super understanding of place value to 1000 and did a wonderful job of sequencing numbers. Way to go, Andrew!

Pupil of the Week

A massive congratulations goes to Maja for her Pupil of the Week Award today! Maja gave an excellent class talk this week and remembered all of her success criteria! We were especially impressed by her loud, clear voice and her use of visual aids! Way to go Maja – we are very proud of you!

Pupil of the Week

Our congratulations go to Freya for being chosen as Pupil of the Week! Freya demonstrated a fantastic level of independence during her Digital Literacy task and navigated her way around Microsoft Word brilliantly. Well done, Freya!

Star of the Week

Our congratulations go to Bradley who was chosen as our star for the week! Bradley did an outstanding job of dividing with remainders. He also impressed us with his amazing alliteration work as part of our author study. Way to go, Bradley!

Pupil of the Week

Congratulations to Franek on being awarded our Pupil of the Week! Franek has shown exceptional enthusiasm when learning about the author we are studying this month. He has been listening very well to the books and trying hard with the follow-up tasks. Well done Franek – we are proud of you!

Pupil of the Week

 

Congratulations to Alfie for being chosen as Pupil of the Week! Alfie is receiving the award this week for making a huge improvement in his pace of work. He has tried really hard to get all of his jobs done in time. Way to go, Alfie! We are proud of you!

Crocus Planting

Well done to our Primary 3/4 pupils, and a massive thank you to our adult volunteers for planting crocus bulbs this afternoon. The rain held off long enough for us to get most of our bulbs in the ground. The children were glad to have wellies and waterproof jackets and have really enjoyed this experience! Hopefully Abbotswell will have some beautiful blooms this spring!

Pupil of the Week

Congratulations go to Karolis, who is our Star Pupil this week! Karolis was chosen for his fantastic story writing effort this week. He wrote a really interesting piece of work and challenged himself to include some fantastic words and phrases. Way to go, Karolis! We are proud of you!
