Shaduf Models

The pupils of Primary 3/4 were busy building models on Tuesday afternoon. We spent time looking at the different parts of a shaduf and created detailed plans of how we would build our own models. The class did a super job of using a variety of new and recycled materials to create their models of these incredible inventions that were used to irrigate crops in ancient Egypt. Shadufs are still used in some places to this day!

Star of the Week

Our congratulations go to Leo who was chosen as Pupil of the Week on Friday! Leo wrote an excellent descriptive piece all about seeing the Queen at Sue Ryder. He worked hard and challenged himself to use some very interesting words and phrases. Way to go, Leo! We are very proud of you!

Her Majesty Comes to Kincorth!

Wow…what an exciting day we had on Friday! We walked along to try and catch a glimpse of the Queen as she arrived at the Sue Ryder Centre and ended up in a prime position with an excellent view!! The children were extremely excited!! We were also incredibly proud of Freya, Saffron, Megan and Lou-Lou who were chosen to sing for the Queen inside the centre on Friday – they loved every minute of their starring role! Well done Girls!
