Shaduf Models

The pupils of Primary 3/4 were busy building models on Tuesday afternoon. We spent time looking at the different parts of a shaduf and created detailed plans of how we would build our own models. The class did a super job of using a variety of new and recycled materials to create their models of these incredible inventions that were used to irrigate crops in ancient Egypt. Shadufs are still used in some places to this day!

  1. Excellent models! Hope you have had a nice break. I can’t remember if Andrew came home with his gym shoes at the end of term. If he did and doesn’t have any today my apologies I will get new ones tonight. Many thanks!
