We have another short 4 day school week this week.

This is Miss Murray’s last week with us.

Homework – Spelling and reading homework will continue this week. Spelling words will be given home on Tuesday and the book should be returned to school on Friday this week.  Our spelling pattern is au as in haul and fault. Please write each word 3 times and choose 2 words and write a sentence with each. Spelling test will be on Friday this week so homework should be completed by then.

Reading – The children will get 1 new book this week on Thursday.

Maths

C – counting forwards and backwards in 1s, 10s and 100s

L – 10 x table jumbled

I – adding tens       3+4=7   so   30+40=70

C – addition 2 digit number add 1                    28+1=29

Our focus for other maths work this week will be coordinates. The children will be drawing things in the correct position on a grid and writing the coordinates of pictures on a grid.

French – This week our French will be our daily routine of days for our calendar and we will continue asking and answering about the weather.
