This week will again be mainly Christmas activities.

Our class party is on Monday afternoon along with P3/4 Room 6.

On Friday we will be attending church for our end of term service at 10.30am.

The children can bring something in from home to do in class on Friday if they want.

School closes for the holidays on Friday at 3.00pm and we return on Monday 8th January. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year.

Homework – Reading homework will continue this week but there will be no spelling again this week.

Reading – The children will get 1 new book this week on Monday and books will be taken in for the holidays on Thursday.

 

 

 

 

This week’s star of the week is Pixie.  She learned her song words for the concert really well.  Well done Pixie.

This week will be mainly Christmas activities.

Our school trip to the pantomime is on Tuesday morning – remember packed lunches for when we get back to school.

The Christmas Concert is on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Friday is Christmas jumper day. We also have achiever’s assembly, Christmas lunch and Christmas cinema afternoon.

Topic – This week our topic will again be mainly Christmas activities. We will continue to learn our songs for the concert, make some more Christmas decorations and do other Christmas maths and literacy activities.

 

This week we have our open afternoon on Wednesday from              3-4pm. We will be selling our Christmas craft enterprise.

The school Christmas Fayre is on Saturday.

Homework – Reading homework will continue this week but there will be no spelling. Instead the children will take home a copy of our Christmas song words to learn.

Reading – The children will get 2 new books this week on Monday and Thursday.

French – This week our French will be our daily routine of the day and date for our calendar. We will also revise asking and answering questions such as

What is your name?

How are you?

How old are you?

Where do you live?

 

 

 

Topic – This week our topic will be mainly Christmas activities. We are busy at the moment making Christmas decorations to sell at the open afternoon and at the Christmas Fayre on Saturday. We will also be learning our songs and rehearsing for the Christmas Concert.
