This Friday we have our production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe for the children in the hall at 1.30pm.

Miss Murray, a student teacher started working with P3 last week and will be with us until the end of September.

Homework – Spelling and reading homework will continue this week. Spelling words will be given home on a Monday and the book should be returned to school on a Friday.  Our spelling pattern is er as in term and river. Please write each word 3 times and choose 2 words and write a sentence with each. Spelling test will be on Friday this week so homework should be completed by then.

Reading – The children will get 2 new books this week on Monday and Thursday.

C – Squiggleworth partitioning 2 digit numbers

L – 7+4=11     8+4=12     9+4=13

I – fact families 1 digit + 1 digit      3+4=7, 4+3=7, 7-3=4, 7-4=3

C – take away a 1 digit number from a number to 20

 

 

French – This week our French will be our daily routine of days for our calendar and we will revise the numbers 1-10.
