As you’ve probably already seen, we are proud of our eco-school status. Every child here is part our own eco-committee where we make decisions about how our school can contribute to reducing the impact we are having on our environment. In 2022, we were awarded our SIXTH green flag and, if you click on the link below, you can reading the wonderful and richly-deserved praise our children received from the assessors.
We grow and harvest our own crops, we regularly compost and have a wormery within our school grounds.
Sadly, due to covid restrictions, we could not invite our lovely parents into the school grounds this year but we nevertheless took on the challenge of readying the grounds for the new year, armed with hosepipes, spades and shovels.
Check out our photos from previous “Dig for Cake” days where parents, staff and children teamed up to ready the school grounds for the season.
