We may be small, but we have it all…
Welcome to Small Isles Primary School.
Small Isles Primary School is situated at the northern end of the village of Craighouse, Isle of Jura. The school is a single story building right next to the sea with a beach we frequently use for learning and outdoor play. We also have wonderful and versatile playground. Children here are educated from nursery up to primary 7. We are proud of our eco-school status and have achieved five eco-flags spanning a 10 year period.
We strive to provide a safe and caring learning environment where mutual respect and tolerance are fostered and children can achieve their full potential in all aspects of the curriculum. Each part of the school community has worked together to create a set of values for our school. We believe in these values and they guide how we work on a daily basis.

The first being the simply fantastic SPIRIT OF JURA video created by our really talented P1-P4 film makers, who went on an epic search for what makes our island special. Second is an advert created by P5-P7 a few years ago, raising awareness for Lyme Disease (something very pertinent when living on Jura). This was then used by LDUK (Lyme Disease UK), a charity that raises awareness of Lyme across the U.K:
