Film Matters!
CAST has recently been forming connections with the charity Filmclub (soon to be Filmnation UK), The Scottish Screen Machine and the Edinburgh Filmhouse with a view to developing a coordinated Argyll & Bute wide film education programme involving support from these three bodies. To help me form a relevant plan of development, I need to build a picture from the following information and would welcome input specially from our secondary schools. If you have two minutes, could you email me the following info?:
does your school has an existing film club?
If so, do you view films, make films or both?
Do you use film in the classroom within your teaching practice and if so, in what context?
Would you be interested in being involved in starting a film club in your school?
