One day last week I made flapjacks for my class. I also gave some to the teachers aswell and they loved it:) Here is the recipe:)
Ingredients
* 250g Porridge Oats
* 125g Butter
* 125g Brown Sugar
* 2-3 tbsps Golden Syrup (depends how gooey you want it)
Method
1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until fully mixed, but be careful not to overmix making sure the oats keep their texture.
2. Lightly grease a baking tin with butter and spoon in all the mixture.
3. Using the back of a spoon press into the corners so the mixture is flat and score the mixture into 12 squares.
4. Place in the oven and bake on 180 until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
If i had a photo i would show you a photo of them, sorry:(
In the weekend i am going to challenge myself by making Meringues:) Next week i plan to make shortbread for the school Burns ceilidh:)
Hi, I was looking through my recipe book not knowing what to bake and then I said how about making flapjacks? But I didn’t have a recipe for it:( Because I didn’t have a recipe I just had to google one. So then I googled it and I found an amazing Nigella Lawson recipe. Here is the recipe-
125g Butter
125g Soft Brown Sugar
75g Golden Syrup
250g Rolled Oats
1.Pre-heat oven to 180 ºC/gas 4
Put the butter, sugar & syrup in a pan. Stir over a low heat until melted.
2.Mix in the oats Grease a 20×30 cm tin and pour in the mixture
3.Bake for 20 mins until golden brown
Cut into bars while warm then remove from tin when COLD.
4.Icing sugar can be sprinkled over the top and a glace cherry plonked in the centre of each slice to make Christmas flapjacks! Depending on the tin you use, consider lining it with baking/greaseproof paper as these get awfully sticky!
Sorry, I don’t have a picture to show you:(
I also made them for my class in school and everybody loved them❤️

Hi, for my Christmas I got two new recipe books, one of them is a Mary Berry book which i have used already and the other one is a Lorraine Pasquale and I have used that a couple of times aswell. I also was opening a present and it was really big and i wondered what it could be? So when i opened it up it was a pink baking bowl. with pink love hearts:):) There’s no stopping me now!
This is what they looked like.
On Saturday the 6th of December we had our Christmas Fayre. We normally have a Christmas cake, but this year we didn’t know anyone who could make it. One of the teachers ” Mrs Clark” said to me ‘because you are doing baking for your Endeavour, would you like to make the Cake for the school Fayre? So I went home and started to look for a recipe. A couple days later mum and I made the cake. Then we left if up on the shelf for a couple of days, then I iced the cake and I made it really cool, I made it look like real ice and snow!! The girl who won my cake was called Rachel Heads. A couple of days later my auntie met Rachel’s mum and she said the cake was amazing. This is what my cake looked like.
On Tuesday the 9th of December i was working on my Endeavour, I was fiddling with my blog and i worked out how to put photos on my blog so now when you look at my blog you will see me baking and some photos of my finish result. I will also maybe get some recipies to show you. I am going to be making more cakes and cookies for my friends. I will be telling you all ingredients measurements and what the oven should be.
