Burns 2025

The children learned poems, songs and dances, and baked. Some created a powerpoint and others played tunes on their chosen instruments. Together the children shared their learning with the whole school – Pre 5 to P.7. It was a very successful morning with children sharing and celebrating their talents.  The children identified the rights that they felt they had enjoyed/accessed, which we added to our whole school display.

Term One August and September 2024

P5 to 7 have been very busy this term so far, with trips to the high school for workshops on STEM, Mental Health and Rugby training. We have also taken part in a visit from authors at Islay Book Festival and been to visit local historical site Finlaggan.

Endeavour 2024

In June each year our children present their findings in a research project called Endeavour. They worked very hard to prepare a digital showcase, and a practical hands on activity to share with friends and family.

Term 1 (August – October 2023)

We had great fun this term learning rugby with Glasgow warriors. We visited the High School pitches, and got to play with other mixed P6 and 7 teams from Port Charlotte and Bowmore.
