The Higher Music Technology Course involves developing advanced skills in the use of music technology hardware and software, using music technology creatively in sound production and developing an understanding of a range of 20th and 21st century music styles and genres – developing a broad understanding of the music industry, including an awareness of the implications of intellectual property and researching key innovators & significant technological developments. Ideally you are building on a successful completion of National 5 Music Technology before starting this course.
There are two areas of assessment at the end of the course:
Assignment – one production, including different contexts
Understanding question paper
All skills and learning lead towards further study of Music Technology
