Today we learned about sources of evidence that we can trust to give us reliable information. We used what we learned to find out about the Cost of Living Crisis and what we can do to help.

Today we watched the short animation of Yoyo & The Broken Butter Lamps before watching the concert live from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Last year we even got to go and watch them in Paisley Town Hall. The story is told by narrators who also play music alongside the story to enhance the characters and their feelings.

This afternoon we had our second bikeability session focussing on using our brakes properly and following a route in the playground with lots of control. In level one we are learning to maintain our cycles, glide, pedal with control and being aware of our surroundings.

Starting this week with a visit to Breich Woodland in Spring, looking at the changes since Winter. We were on the lookout for bluebells, which we saw, animals coming out of hibernation, which we didn’t see, and the birds singing and building their nests.
We collected sticks to make kites to make the most of the Spring winds and used our meta skills to make other things, such as boomerangs, inspired by the shapes of the sticks we found.
