This term we have been exploring a little more about how we learn in our school and how the children know they are learning and making progress.

The children feel engaged and curious to learn through our project based learning on birds where they get to self- direct their journey on this topic.

Our learners can recall and discuss their learning especially when it is made visible. Today we took the opportunity during our morning assembly to explore our curriculum closely, ask questions and include our own ideas.

Our nativity rehearsals are well underway today and we can’t wait to present this to our grown ups tomorrow morning. Here are a few sneaky photographs of us rehearsing today in the hall. Every day we are getting better and better and more confident in our words, actions and our singing. We are excited to perform for everyone.

On Tuesday we all got to design and create a gingerbread house using icing and biscuits! We absolutely loved this festive activity.

Yesterday we had a surprise visit from Santa! We all got to meet him in Woodmuir and he asked us all what we would like for our Christmas. Then we all got a special gift and our photograph taken too. Our photographs will be ready to send home today to our grown ups and we hope you like them.

This morning we were dashing in to the festive season with our daily mile Santa dash 2025! This fun, feel-good event is all about getting children moving and to celebrate the joy of being active. We had so much fun and even had a surprise visit from Santa. This was a great start to our week and was the perfect way to spread festive cheer while keeping everyone healthy and happy in the run up to the holidays.
