Nursery Peep – Emotions

Hello everyone,

Welcome to our very first Virtual Peep group.

As we all settle back into our new routines, we may be feeling different emotions. We have been discussing these different emotions during our group times at nursery and we have been exploring how we can manage them.

This week our virtual group talks about the kinds of emotions children may be feeling and how you can help to talk this through with your child.

We hope you enjoy.

Nursery – Friday 21st August

Good morning everyone,

Firstly we would like to say a huge thank you to all our parents and carers for supporting us with the changes we have put in place to adhere to government guidance.  Our children deserve a huge well done for settling in so well to our new routine.  We are so proud of them all.

We continue to focus on our health and well-being.  Discussing our feelings, building friendships and learning appropriate ways to deal with our emotions.

We have all had experience in our new coloured small group times with our key worker.

The garden has been very popular.  Our children have enjoyed building obstacle courses and climbing frames using pallets and tyres.  The mud kitchen is being well used and the bikes have been well liked.  We even had some fun in the school playground.

We continue to practice being independent when getting our shoes and jackets on and off. We ask that you encourage and support this at home.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and we look forward to more fun and learning next week.
