Primary 4 went to the zoo and had an amazing day! We saw lots of animals, and were able to identify their classificaiton groups through the research we had done in the classroom. We had an opportunity to hold some animals and were so lucky with the weather!
Alice said “I like seeing the penguins because they were eating fish and swimming and I find them interesting.”
Mark said “My lighlight was seeing the pandas because they were playing around and it was good to watch. ”
Liam said “My favourite part was the pandas. I`d never seen one beofre in real life and they were really cute.”
Jacob said “The workshop was so interesting becaue I got to hold some animals and feel the elephant skin, which was different than I thought it would be. ”
Hello readers!
Primary 1p have been having a lot of fun investigating animals that are no longer around. Sophia knew that the word for this is called ‘extinct!’
We explored objects that show evidence of animals which used to be around, we discovered that the word for these were fossils! We made our own fossils using clay to show dinosaur footprints and even more, have a peek and see if you can spot some dinos! See if you can see Rory’s Pterodactyl and Lyle’s T-Rex!
