13th May 2020 End of Day Blog

Hola!  Como estas hoy?

Es un dia muy calido, no?

It has been lovely to speak to some of you on the telephone, see some of you picking up resources from school and even see you when I’ve been out delivering packs today. It really has made my day to see your smiles and hear your happy voices.

In Literacy, you were asked to draw a picture of a crazy inventor and then to write a description using the noun, pronoun, pronoun, noun format.  We have really enjoyed reading your work and looking at some of your drawings.

In Numeracy, we asked you to create a code using numbers and the alphabet.  Well done to all those who had a go.  Here is the code that AC (P3SW) created. Can you work it out?

Keep up the hard work and remember to take some time to do the things you enjoy with your family.

Adios hasta manana!

Nursery Frog Watch Week 1

Hello everyone!

At this time of year at nursery we would usually begin to explore the life cycles of different living things, particularly butterflies and frogs. With that in mind we would like to introduce our new weekly frog watch.

Mrs Pecoriello and her boys found some tadpoles at their local pond and are going to look after them so we can see the life cycle up close before releasing them back into the wild.

We will post an update every Wednesday so you can see the changes and learn about the life cycle from home.
We have also attached a story link which helps to explore this too,

Happy frog watching!
