P4b and their Sustran Experience!

On Monday 18th March, P4b was invited to go to the hall and be part of the Sustran bike presentation.   The children learned that pedalling a bike can generate electricity to power a projector and laptop to show clips!   The children also watched some “extreme bikers” and their antics, and were blown away by their gravity defying feats!!

Evi says “the bike flips were amazing!”

Lucy C says “I was amazed at all the tricks.”

Ryan says “the clips have inspired me to become a professional biker.”

Aiden says” the videos were excellent, I couldn`t believe how good he was.”

Brandon says “when the man cycled through the very deep puddle, it was so funny!”

P4b enjoyed their time in the hall and hope to take part in the pedalling next year when Sustran come back.

P4b Show rehearsals.

We have been working very hard in P4 with our show rehearsals.  We are learning lots of songs and some people are learning their lines very well.  We are now putting actions to our songs and I`m sure everyone at home are beginning to learn them too.

Ailis says: “I`m feeling a little scared as the show is getting quite close now.”

Brandon is excited, Danielle is nervous but looking forward to performing.

Sophie says: “I`m excited and nervous all at the same time!”

Lucy is worried in case she makes a mistake.

Aiden is happy that friends and family will be coming to see him perform.

The children are going to be dressed up as forest/woodland animals.  Therefore, we would ask if they could bring in a t-shirt which is: black, white, red, beige or brown.  Also, if anyone has a onesie or bought woodland animal outfit, they could bring in too.

Please have all the costumes in school for next Monday (4th March).  We will supply the masks and rest of costumes for the children.

Primary 4b assembly: 8.2.19

The assembly will be starting at 9am and afterwards, please feel free to stay on for a bit and enjoy a tea, coffee or juice and a little cake or biscuit!

We all look forward to seeing you on Friday.
