P6bc are very excited to learn who their new teacher will be in P7.   Everyone will be P7 this week during transition, so the children will get a little taster of what P7 holds in store for them.

Hollie says  “I can`t wait to go on school camp, especially since we missed camp in P5.”

Callan says  “I am looking forward to seeing my buddy more often when they are in P1.”

Alden says “I am excited about joining the Football team in P7 and going to lots of marches.”

So as you can see, everyone is more than ready to move onward and upward for new beginnings.

P6bc went to Dynamic Earth for their school trip.  It was linked to their learning about Space and our Solar System.  The children had a wonderful day and enjoyed going through all of the rooms.  The weather stayed warm and sunny and we were able to eat out lunch outside.

Arthur said “I really enjoyed the Planetarium, the visuals were amazing.”

Hollie said ” we completed lots of experiments in our workshop and added water to a solution to create a solid.  We then learned that this is how the  astronaut`s suits absorb wee in space!”

Oliver said “We finished the day with the gift shop which was brilliant.  I bought lots of things.”

P6 visited the Nursery children last week.  We all walked up to Bathgate West enjoying the fresh air and some sunshine.

All of P6 were delighted to meet the nursery children and enjoyed playing with them in the garden.

Adam said “It was really fun playing with the children.”

Arthur said “I was teaching some of the children how to play football.”

Hollie said ” I helped a few children to do some gardening.”

Kaylee said “it was fun seeing the little kids play.”

Megan said ” When we arrived the little children showed me around the Nursery.”

We are all looking forward to our next walk to the Nursery and we hope the weather stays dry!
