UNDERSTAND what makes a ‘Good leader’

BE ABLE TO create a list of words that describe a ‘Good Leader’ and apply these words into your own leader drawing

BE ABLE TO focus and mirror the actions from a Just Dance link keeping balance and coordinating your skills

BE ABLE TO take part in different fun activities

 

Task 1:

Who can you get involved with you?

 

TASK 2:

Think of all the different words you can that DESCRIBE a ‘Good Leader’ in PE.

If you are stuck think about people who you look up to and what qualities they have, for example; listening skills, communication, organised

List your words below;

 

 

 

Task 3:

Using the words you have listed above you are going to design your own ‘Sports Leader’. NO WORDS ALLOWED on the picture.

How can you translate the skills into a picture?

For example; Listening skills – you can draw ears on them, Organised – you can draw PE equipment neatly ready

What will your ‘Good Leader’ look like?

Who can you get involved with you?

 

TASK 2:

You are going to test your fitness fully after lasts weeks Circuits.

  1. Using your driveway, garden or hallway mark out a 20 metre distance (20 large strides or 2 x 10 if not long enough)
  2. Position yourself at one of the markers.
  3. Press the start button of the Beep Fitness Test – https://youtu.be/g2QJ9OTHaE4
  4. Run 20 meters to the opposite marker, getting there before the next beep sounds.
  5. Wait there until the beep sounds before running back to the other marker.
  6. Repeat this process for each shuttle until you are unable to keep up with the beeps. Remember, you must wait for the beep before starting the next shuttle.
  7. When you miss a beep you must continue to run to the marker in front of you, turn at the end, and try to catch up with the pace within 2 more beeps. The test ends when you fail to reach the opposite marker for two consecutive beeps.
  8. Your final score is the last level and shuttle you completed before missing a beep.
