We are looking forward to parents night next week and having our learning shared!

Last week we had a wonderful assembly! We all worked so hard to find out about love and talk about what it means to us. We loved performing to everyone – thank you to all that came along.

We hope everyone had a lovely long weekend. We got straight back to work when we came in Wednesday and have started to create the outside of Willy Wonkas Chocolate factory on our classroom door! We think it will feel magical coming into a chocolate factory every day.

We are really enjoying reading it in class and completing lots of activities about the characters and plot.

Next week, we will be introduced to the Oompa Loompas and their singing! We can’t wait!

Last week we completed an experiment exploring air resistance. We worked in pairs to design a parachute for an egg. We had to try and stop our egg from smashing when we dropped it from a height. The materials we could use were string, a plastic bin bag, card and a sandwich bag.

After we created our parachute we attached our raw egg and dropped it.

Almost all of us were successful!

Over the next few weeks we are moving on to learning about friction.
