3M Blog It!

Hello everyone,

Second blog update of the week!

Lots of news coming out of Primary 3M!

We were thrilled by the 3Sixty bike stunt crew that came to our school on Thursday and they performed some pretty cool tricks on their bikes and inspired us all to get peddling!

P3M are making our own Africa Fact Books and we have so far created an animal fact file for an Elephant, we are researching  to do the same for Hippos and we are in the process of designing our front covers.  We look forward to sharing these once they are finished!

Enjoy the long weekend everyone!

3M Blog It!

Hello everyone,

a quick update from P3M!

Cara has been learning about Africa through our Africa topic.  Alana has been learning about the animals.  Carmen is excited about her Africa presentation and has it planned out already.  Aiden has learned about the Sahara and knows it’s a very big desert.  Lucy has created a Lion’s portrait using chalk and Eden created an African silhouette sunset.

Callum S has been learning about fractions and rounding in numeracy.  Maxim knows that fractions include finding 1/2 and 1/4.  Jake knows that finding a fraction is linked to division.  Evan knows that 5 rounds up when rounding to the nearest 10, it’s a magic rule!

Ana has been building a character profile of Scar from the Lion King in our writing.  William has enjoyed practicing his spelling words by typing them on the computer. Allegra also experimented with adding paragraphs to her writing and Ethan knows that this is a group of sentences.

Ruaridh has been enjoying the run a marathon challenge P3 are taking part in which involves running 209.6 laps of our school field!

Thank you all,

P3M
