Hello everyone,

our final blog post of 2020! What an interesting year it has been! P4M would like to share their learning with you.

TG would like share that we made Dreidels to celebrate Hanukkah.  This was part of our festivals topic.  It was fun and tricky.  WS enjoyed making these too! Through topic, BM enjoyed making some calendars for 2021 as we learned all about Scottish Hogmanay.  SK knows we have learned about lots of different festivals and celebrations.  Her favourite part was making some Thanksgiving turkeys!

KM would like to share we have been having Mandarin lessons.  She liked learning about Chinese New Year.  MS has been enjoying these too.  MM has enjoyed learning the Mandarin numbers.  JD has enjoyed learning about the numbers too.

JB enjoyed learning about addition and subtraction in numeracy.  He enjoyed the written method and just liked it. LR enjoyed this too and enjoyed learning how to carry.  HH feels she has become more confident in addition and subtraction.  MW wants to explore addition and subtraction further.

AC enjoyed creating different genres of narrative stories.  We wrote fairy tales, sci-fi and spooky stories.  ZC feels he has made lots of progress in writing.

RM has enjoyed learning about time and learning things about analogue clocks.  LM also enjoyed learning about time.  LR is feeling more confident when telling the time.

LB would like to tell you about our Christmas enterprise where we  made festive facemasks.  We made adverts, we designed a prototype, persuasive advertising posters and we knew we were selling them to make a profit.

EB would like to tell you that we learned some Christmas sign language on our vertical learning day.  We learned the song ,’We wish you a Merry Christmas’.  On our vertical learning day, NB enjoyed making some gingerbread houses in a STEM challenge.

EF has learned all about metaphors and similes.

SB has been enjoying health and wellbeing lessons where we have been learning to celebrate our differences.

FP would like to tell you about our NYCOS lessons.  We have been learning about rhythm and beat.  She knows a single sound is called ta and a double sound is called te te.

Thank you for all of your continued support.  We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year =]
