Happy New Year!

With 2019 now here P4Q have some resolutions that they would like to share with you…

Stella: To get along with my brother more

Cooper: To be better at football.

Josh: To go back to Flamingo Land.

Fraser: To be more resilient

Kayla W: To have fun so I can be great.

Luka: To not moan at my mum and dad when they ask me to do something I don’t want to.

Lucas: To play for a premier league team

Olivia: To swim more

Layla: To swim better and save peoples lives when they drown.

Fia: To be a good friend and not moan at mum and dad.

Charlotte: To do a back flip and land it.

Chloe T : To be able to draw a dress studio by the end of January.

Haaris: To be a better judo player.

Rose: To play with lots of friends at the same time.

Rocio: To have less sugar.

Emma: To get better at numeracy.

Arran: To learn about time.

Callum: To go on my bike more.

Jaysen: To get better at handwriting.

Aiden: To spend more time with my dad.

Looking Forward

We have lots of things to look forward to this Year including Lendrick Muir and The Risk Factory.  Our new topic idea is really exciting us as it all about ICT (coding, internet intelligence etc).  We look forward to leading the planning for our topic and finding out lots about what interests us.  We are also looking forward to finding out more about the Academy this term.

P7 Enterprise

We are making items to sell at a Children’s Fayre on Friday the 18^th of January.  We would like to raise lots of money to reduce the cost of our bus to Lendrick Muir.  In small groups we had a budget of £5 to research costs and prices of good stalls that the children would like.  In P7e we came up with

* Sweet Mystery Game

* Slime

* Handmade Squishies

* Tombola

* Raffle

We look forward to seeing your children at the Children’s Fayre.  If they could bring some money to school on this day we would really appreciate their support.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Finlay who won our school joke competition.  His joke was sent to judges in London and he has been selected to travel to London for the Voicebox Final.  We are so proud of Finlay and wish him well in the final.

Welcome to 2019!!!   In P4b we are all glad to be back to start the new term with bright eyes and bushy tails!   We have been discussing what we will look forward to for this new year.  some children have been making reolutions and other children have been thinking about what their goals and targets will be for 2019.

Evi says “I want to be able to do a backfilp!”

Olivia`s goal is to move up a level in her swim class.

Andy`s resolution is to get better at reading and move on to more challenging texts.

Liam says “I`m determined to get better at football.”

Well we certainly wish everybody all the very best for the new year, and are sure that with hard work and determination everyone should achieve their goals!
