Good afternoon everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We have had a lovely start to the year. Our new sounds have been ‘ch’ and ‘ng’

Paie, Angus, Logan, Jack, Rory and Isla did some fantastic writing in their jotters using ‘ng’ words.

Oscar, Flynn, Ellis and Arran have done amazing counting back from 20… it sounds like we are sending a rocket ship into space!

Rhianna, Ava and Rosie have enjoyed their reading time with Miss Purdie.

Aryana, Sophia, Thomas and Lyle were amazing at showing different types of balances in PE.

We are all enjoying our new topic about transport. Our class are particularly interested in transport that can fly!

Thanks for reading!

🙂

Happy New Year all! We hope you had a lovely relaxing time off and enjoyed the festive period!

Last week we began working on multiplication! We are exploring different strategies for solving multiplication problems as well as practicing our re-call of the tables. We need to get really quick at this!

We also started our new topic and did some research about how water gets to the tap clean. We found out that an average house has over 9000 pipes inside!! Think of all that water.

We will be thinking of ways we can conserve water and doing an experiment on cleaning water this week! All large empty bottles welcome!
