Just a wee reminder our first Stay & Play date of the session is on Wednesday 27th of September. Come in with your child and stay a while. Why not join in the activities, have a chat with your child’s key worker and share your ideas in our very relaxed parent group.
Our Learning Ideas

Our Autumn Walk
Today we have handed out an autumn bag to each child. This is so you and your child can fill it with any autumn goodies you find on your walks. Return the bag next week (maybe name them first) and we will discuss our findings during group time. Looking forward to hearing all your autumn facts and fun.
Wellies
Thank you to all the parents/carers who have provided their children with wellies. We have certainly seen a difference in getting ready independently for outdoor play.
(Remember to speak to a member of the nursery team if you have any concerns about this).
Apples
You may have noticed we have an apple tree in our garden. This week we collected the apples and next week the boys and girls will help us to bake apple tarts.
The Wheels on the Bus
As our current theme is transport everyone yesterday received a Ziggy book. We are currently learning The Wheels on the Bus and everyone has a song sheet in their pigeon hole to take home and enjoy with the family.
Numeracy Area
This week we have been threading reels which teaches good fine motor skills and concentration. We also had a good talk about colours.
