Thank you for all the extra contributions you made to the snack fund over the last two terms. We purchased a lovely maple wood storage unit for our Big Bedtime Read books. This has made the organisation of our bags so much easier. Thank you again for your generosity.

We are about to invite all the siblings of children in the nursery to visit us on Monday 30^th April. Everyone will receive an invitation with a suitable time and should pop their reply into the special box outside the nursery. Our nursery children can’t wait to deliver the invitations to all the classes and are looking forward to the big day.

The nursery children visited the primary one classes today at Deans Primary School as part of our transition programme and they had a lovely visit. We are planning weekly visits from now on as well as many other activities for children and our parents/carers. Remember to keep looking at our transition wall in the nursery corridor for updates. There will also be updates from Meldrum  and St John Ogilvie R C Primary Schools coming soon.We have attached some other Deans P.S. transition dates for your diary.

We decided to do away with traditional fancy dress in nursery and now have costumes to encourage imagination and let the children decide what they want to be.  Thank you to Euan’s mummy who has been busy sewing us some capes.

The Parent Council visited nursery today and gifted everyone an Easter egg before heading off to school to give the older children their treat.  Thank you very much from us all, what a lovely surprise.

Recently we looked at all the ways we used ICT in the nursery. We made a poster  – have a wee look, just click on ICT Task.

Remember our last fun day in the snow. Maybe today you can build a fantastic snowman and take a photograph of it to show us on Monday. Enjoy!

This week we had another stay and play. The children love having their adults here to show off what we do.  The next one is scheduled for 20th March and we hope you can come.
